Electric Residential Relief Program & Rate Assistance Program
These are challenging times for everyone. Roseville Electric Utility is here to help with a new program for Roseville residents. The Electric Residential Relief Program offers income-qualified residents a one-time credit on their electric bill.
Roseville residents may also be eligible for a Rate Assistance Program, which provides a monthly discount for those who qualify.

Health Education Council
Has established two help lines for residents who need help accessing key information on health, financial matters, small business, and mental health.

The Health Education Council has also transformed their website into a Community Resource site. With pages in both English and Spanish, residents can find links to claim forms, health care resources, and mental health services.
They are also offering virtual walking groups, mentoring for high-risk youth using virtual outreach, and are working with local food banks and school districts to deliver food to families in need.

Placer Food Bank
The Placer Food Bank has been distributing food and nourishing our community since our beginning as the Community Resource Council in 1970. The organization was founded to provide services to low-income and needy individuals and families in Roseville and surrounding areas.
They have free farmers markets on select dates and cities. They are providing these through drive-thru only, and are asking all items be removed from your trunk so volunteers can place food in your vehicle. Distributions include a bag of nonperishables and up to 6 types of fresh produce.

Stay Home. Save Lives. Check in - A new State of California campaign
This campaign urges all Californians to check in on vulnerable neighbors with a call, text or physically-distanced door knock.
The State also created a one-stop-shop way to get assistance during this crisis. There is now a statewide hotline to help all Californians coordinate with a non-profit local 2-1-1 system.

Can you or someone you know benefit from the comfort of a friendly voice?
Eskaton’s Telephone Reassurance Program provides participants comfort and connection during the COVID-19 pandemic, and year-round, to older adults.
Through daily phone calls, Telephone Reassurance Program volunteers provide socialization, comfort and connection to participants.

Project Go
Assistance with payment of
gas and/or electric utility bills, the purchase of wood, propane, or oil for
heat. They also offer free insulation and weatherization of homes.
They are asking for anyone interested in these services to contact them via
phone, email, or mail. In person services are not available at this
time.

Kids First - Counseling & Family Resource Centers
Offering free services to local families, including but not limited to: parenting classes, family and individual therapy, and after-school programs for children. All services are available in English and Spanish.
Their physical offices are currently closed for the safety of their clients and employees. However, are still available by phone and email for case management and counseling/therapy.

Lighthouse Counseling & Family Resource Center
Their mission is "to strengthen families and improve the physical and emotional well-being of residents of Placer County by providing counseling, education, and easy access to community based resources."
Their counselors are trained in child abuse and neglect prevention, attachment disorders, domestic violence, trauma and other family related issues. They provide a wide range of classes such as positive parenting, depression and anxiety, anger management, budgeting, women's empowerment, suicide prevention, family wellness and employment readiness. All of their services are free to their clients and are provided in both English and Spanish.
Lighthouse Counseling and Family Resources Center is providing uninterrupted counseling and family resource center services remotely during their normal business hours M-F, 8:00 am-noon, 1-4:30 pm.

Is offering online counseling at reasonable rates for people in need. They also have career coaching, grief support and celebrate recovery groups online.

Stand Up Placer
Stand Up Placer saves lives and empowers survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. A crisis/help line is maintained 24 hours a day.
They offer emergency housing, transitional housing, therapy and legal assistance programs for victims. The safe house welcomes all individuals regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, or religion. It is also pet-friendly.
The Crisis/Help Line 800-575-5352 operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They also operate a chat function on their website standupplacer.org.
Cayenne Wellness Center
The mission of Cayenne Wellness Center is to increase the quality of life for individuals diagnosed with sickle cell disease in California by ensuring expert, unbiased, and comprehensive care. To reach this vision, our programs focus on education and awareness for providers, patients, and the general public. We provide: * Educational Sessions, Webinars, and Other Events. * SCD Newborn Screening Follow-Up: We reach individuals diagnosed with sickle cell disease throughout the state of California in an effort to assess their needs, provide community based services, care coordination, and health education on sickle cell 101, latest treatments and curatives, and best practices for advocating for oneself. In Roseville, your regional Community Health Worker is Hope Medina (hope.medina.cayennewellness.org). * Client Assistance Program: Cayenne Wellness Center’s SCD Client Assistance Program enables us to support care coordination services for persons living with Sickle Cell Disease. This includes up to $500 in cash assistance.
