2023-00063656 11/26/23 8:50 AM BURGLARY AUTO 1951 TAYLOR RD Between 11.25.2023 at 2030 hours and 11.26.2023 at 0850 hours an unknown suspect(s)broke into the victim's vehicle and stole approximately$10,440 worth of personal property while it was parked in the parking lot of 1951 Taylor  Road. The ignition of the vehicle was also tampered with.
2023-00062340 11/17/23 1:10 PM FRAUD 1435 E ROSEVILLE PKWY Victim left wallet inside a locker provided by the fitness center. At approximately 1349 hours, Victim received a fraud alert from her bank regarding fraudulent activity on her account. Victim was able to prevent the transaction from happening. She then looked in her wallet and noticed one of her credit cards was missing. The first attempted charge was for $8,011.72 and the second attempted charge was shortly after for approximately $3,000 in San Jose. Neither of the charges were successful transactions.

2023-00063426 11/24/23 3:35 PM FRAUD HERNANDEZ LN Victim's computer alerted a security concern with a phone number to call to resolve issue. Victim was told that the computer had a virus from watching child porn. Victim stated they did not watch child porn but was convinced they needed to pay a fine to not be held criminally liable. Victim went to the bank, pulled out $5.000.00 in cash, and drove to a location as instructed and deposited the money into a Bitcoin account that was unrecoverable.

2023-00062438 11/15/23 12:01 AM FRAUD BRIDGEFORD DR Victim met a girl (suspect) on a dating app. Suspect told victim how to invest crypto currency on an exchange to make money. It was essentially day trading crypto currency. Victim was told to move his crypto wallet to a specific exchange. Victim invested his money in a fraudulent Bitcoin exchange and lost approximately $255,000.

2023-00063368 11/17/23 7:25 AM FRAUD TUSCAN GROVE CIR An unknown suspect(S) impersonated a law firm and defrauded the victim, via fictitious check, after receiving an email from the law firm expressing interest in victim's post seeking employment as a proofreader. The victim is at a $3,500 monetary loss.
2023-00062588 11/19/23 1:00 PM BURGLARY MCMINDES CT Victim was out of town and came home to see belongings tossed around and not in its proper place. Victim noted that the only known items stolen at the time were two emerald bracelets, totaling $1000. Victim believed the suspect(s) entered through the back door in the master bedroom. Victim noted the door is old and does not lock well every time and came home to see the door unlocked.

2023-00063862 11/27/23 3:50 PM PETTY THEFT 1970 BLUE OAKS BLVD An unknown suspect(s) stole the victim's bicycle while it was left unlocked and unattended on a bike rack outside of a business. The value of the bicycle was less than $950. Victim was with a friend whose unlocked bicycle was also stolen at the same time.
