This project aims to infuse the heart of Royer Park with creativity, building a stronger sense of community and enhancing the park’s beauty.

From its green spaces to its playground and concert venue, Royer Park has a rich history. Now, with the Children’s Art Center ready for transformation, we invite artists to contribute to its legacy.
The chosen mural will be on the front and side of the Children’s Art Center, potentially extending upwards to the upper level of the building. Whether your vision celebrates the wonders of art and creativity, the joy of play, the bonds of family and community, or the beauty of nature, we encourage you to let your imagination soar.
Project Timeline:
- Application Deadline: April 25, 2024
- Selection Panel Review Completion: May 1, 2024
- Artist Notification: May 3, 2024
- Contract Execution: May 13, 2024
- Site Prep and Installation: Prior to Sept. 1, 2024
Application Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must submit all required documentation and renderings via email by the application deadline. Proposals should include:
- Written proposal with a concept sketch
- Project budget (not to exceed $15,000)
- Current resume highlighting at least three completed mural installations
- Two professional references
