Bicyclists
- The rules of the road require bikes, like cars, to travel on the right. This also applies to our trails. California Vehicle Code 21956
- Travel at a safe speed
- Yield to pedestrians
Pedestrians
- Pedestrians always use the left lane
- Stay in the proper lane so you aren’t surprised by traffic coming behind you
- When a cyclist approaches, step toward the shoulder to allow extra room for passing
All Trail Users
- Don’t block the trail; travel single file when trail is busy
- Keep dogs under control and on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Roseville Municipal Code 7.04.060
- Stay alert to your surroundings
- No motorized vehicles permitted on trails. This includes but is not limited to, motorized scooters and golf carts. This does not apply to electric wheelchairs or mobility devices needed for ADA accessibility. Roseville Municipal Code 8.02.220
